The Recruitment Policy and Outreach team at the U.S. Office of Personnel Management is pleased to present the following online session for all Federal employees.

The Onboarding Basics session is an introduction to onboarding and a survey of best practices that will help you improve new hire time-to-productivity and retention. This session will cover:

  • Elements of effective onboarding
  • Onboarding map the first six months
  • Delivery methods
  • Key metrics

Who should attend?

  • This webinar is for Federal employees
  • Federal human resources professionals
  • Hiring officials who are responsible for recruiting and building high performing teams
  • Federal employees who participate in recruiting and outreach activities (e.g., equal employment opportunity specialists, special emphasis program managers, campus ambassadors)

Registration:

  • Follow the Eventbrite link.
  • Register for the event through Eventbrite using your name and Federal email address.
  • The login information will be supplied on the Order Confirmation Web Page and in an Order Confirmation email sent to your email address (Check your Spam/Junk folder if you do not receive confirmation of your registration.

Attendance:

  • This is an online webinar.
  • Presentation Sound: There is no dial-in conference line for this session. The sound will come through your device (i.e., computer, laptop, etc.).
  • Reasonable Accommodation: Please submit any requests for reasonable accommodation to the Event Organizer via Eventbrite no later than close of business on Wednesday, May 24, 2017.
  • Technology Support: This presentation will use the web-based AdobeConnect presentation tool. The event organizer cannot assist with any issues around accessing the presentation online. Please check with your local IT Helpdesk if you think you may have or have access issues when using Adobe Connect.
